Egli Hotel in Andros is housed in a two-floor neoclassical building dating back to 1900, which was fully renovated in 2010 with an emphasis on maintaining the traditional prestige of its noble beauty whilst offering all the comforts expected in a modern hotel. All rooms have hardwood floors, air conditioning, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, a small fridge, a laptop-size safe, a wardrobe, a desk, a hair dryer, bathroom air heaters, and toiletries.
The building which was once the private residence of the aristocratic shipping Korkodilou family was converted into a hotel in 1953 by the owner at the time, Antonios Kontos. He made the first hotel in the island’s capital. In 2010 the hotel was fully renovated, combining modern amenities with neoclassical décor.
