Just like the Batsi, but its quiet
Although only a kilometer from the bustling harbor of Batsi, the sandy beach of Stivari Beach is something quite rare. Peace, tranquility, green nature and reeds, all these near from one of Andros’s hottest spots. Besides, the small size of the beach is not for crowds. At Stivari Beach you will find pebbles – inside and out of the sea but also trees, a necessary setting for coveted coolness, while it is ideal for friends of amateur fishing. On the south side of the small beach there is a small river.
How to get to Beach Stivari
The Stivari area with its homonymous settlement is located in the north-west of Andros just outside Batsi. Follow the road that passes through the center of Batsi and a few meters after the port as you go up to Chora turn right. The small coastal road will take you just 800 meters further down in front of a beautiful small cove looking west and hosting the small but picturesque Stivari Beach. Right on top of it there is a tavern to combine the daytime (diving and sunbathing) with the beneficial (Aegean cuisine).
