A few kilometers north of Gavrio and close to the most famous Beach Fellos we find an other large, isolated and beautiful sand beach, the Pisolimnionas Beach. Wonderful sunsets, thick sand and pebbles and cool waters makes a romantic scenery that you should not miss.
Route – Location
Pisolimnionas Beach is located on the northwest coast of Andros, between the settlements of Ano and Kato Fellos. It is just 9 km from the port of Gavrio. Driving northwest and reaching the settlement of Fellos follow the route to its beach. Before you reach the beach of Fellos and with the help of the signs you will find the relative junction from which starts the dirt road (which is considered quite passable) 4 km long to Pisolimniona Beach. Your destination is about under the village of Mermigies. Note that there is no canteen, tavern or anything else that suggests commercial or tourist activity or umbrellas in the huge beach, so the Pisolimniona is suitable for those who wish to be isolated but equip yourself with the necessary.

It is a still hidden from the crowd and isolated but beautiful beach of northwest Andros. If you are looking for peace and tranquility this is your destination. Its water are really cold and the beach overlooking in Cavo Doro, while a tree cluster is useful for a little shade near the sandy beach of Pisolimnionas Beach awaits you to discover it. Prefer afternoon hours, cause the view of the sunset in the Aegean Sea from this beach is breathtaking.
