Beach of Paleapoli
Great huge beach with sand and pebbles. On the right is sunken the breakwater of the ancient harbor and the mountain descends to Aimasa – Aimasa* to the sea. The area is studded with antiquities. The beach attracts many scuba diving enthusiasts. The horizon to the left, when it is clear, it reveals the Cyclades Islands. The houses of Paleapoli village are built among the trees, while the tall mountain makes an unprecedented beauty. The beach is quiet even in August. On the Chora-Gavrion Street and across from the Archaeological Museum there is a downhill road. You will get to the beach from the stairs through the village and about food, in the village.
