Batsi Beach

The enchanting fishing village of Andros

Batsi beach in Andros is a vast golden sandy beach, with tamarisk trees that offer great shade. It is located in the village and the view of the houses of the traditional and picturesque settlement is charming.

It is ideal for children, families, and groups. The beach is sheltered from the winds, organized but also huge. Young children can swim fearlessly as the sea is not deep.

Batsi beach – Excellent for night swimming

The marina across the street has boats of all sizes, seasonal music, and a plethora of options. It is no coincidence that Batsi is where it all started. It was a fishing village in Andros that was looking for a way out and found it in tourism. Nowadays the traditional element is wonderfully combined with the modern. Batsi, now an important tourist resort, has nothing to envy of Chora, the capital of the island. Dozens of shops, tavernas, and bars, create a nightlife that is truly unforgettable for visitors.

Batsi beach is also excellent for night swimming. It is perhaps the most charming thing the island has to offer. Night in the water, with the lights all around. Too many people every year choose to swim at night at Batsi beach. A very romantic setting and a great opportunity to cool off while gazing at the wonderful lights from the village.
