The ouzo – tavern Karavostasi – also known as “Stou Sigala” – is located in Gavrio, the main port of Andros island. The tavern is located just a few meters away from the sea and the waterfront.

In this wonderful tavern, you will enjoy unique meze and excellent ouzo. You will find everything from fried shrimp, mussel pilaf, and grilled cod, to all kinds of fresh fish. The stuffed squid is amazing, while the grilled octopus and the sea bass with spinach are among the most popular choices. In addition, the tomato meatballs and local pastries are worth trying.
All dishes are based on homemade, andriotic recipes. The seafood and fish dishes are all very reasonably priced.
